About
On a mission to help people rest, reflect, and thrive.

Hi! I'm Tony.
Welcome to my little corner of the internet!
I’m Tony, a Canadian social worker and therapist with over a decade of experience helping people navigate life’s challenges. Through my private practice, writing, and teaching, I’ve dedicated myself to supporting individuals in finding balance and well-being.
My specialty lies in sleep; you can find more information about that at my practice, Quadra Wellness. From tackling insomnia to addressing nightmares, I’m passionate about helping people and communities reclaim the gift of restful nights and the transformative power of good sleep.
But my work is only part of the story. I’m also a lifelong learner and explorer, fascinated by new ideas and technology. My colleagues affectionately call me “Tech Tony” because of my knack for hyper-focusing on creative solutions to big and small challenges alike (thank you, adult ADHD!). These days, I’m working on letting go of perfectionism and embracing the messy, imperfect beauty of progress.
One of my favorite quotes captures the essence of my philosophy:
“If your compassion does not include yourself, it is incomplete.”
– Jack Kornfield
This website is a space for sharing insights and ideas about living with more compassion, curiosity, and kindness. Occasionally, there’ll be a product review for something I’ve personally tried.
By understanding how our personal experiences connect with larger social structures, I believe we can take the pressure off blaming ourselves for everything that feels out of balance (spoiler: it’s not always a “you” problem).
I hope to inspire a sense of wonder as we explore how compassion and curiosity can transform how we navigate ourselves, our relationships, and our communities.
As you browse, I hope you feel welcomed, inspired, and ready to join me on this journey of growth, learning, and meaningful connection.
With kindness,
Tony
